Book 1, page 1. Blake Rain Chronicles.

Chapter 1 "I need a vacation"

Cold sweat trickled down my face as I slept. My dream played like a movie I was forced to watch. It was dark outside. I was underneath the streetlight playing with my dog. I hadn’t realized that it was already very dark, and when I finally looked around, the sun was completely gone. The stars were visible in areas where there weren’t clouds.
I began to walk home. As I walked I felt a sudden chill down my spine. Clide whimpered and I had the feeling I was being watched.
It became quiet, still, dark, and I began to panic, a small twelve-year-old boy, outside, alone, and in the dark. I began to run, the fear driving my legs to go faster and faster until I had reached my top speed. I had the horrible feeling that someone was following me.
I ran as fast as I could, as far as I could and even then I didn’t stop. My panic was powering me further than I knew I could go. Seconds passed like hours, my ears began to throb and time slowed around me. I felt something catch my foot, then a sharp pain in my stomach, knees, chest, and head. I had fallen, hard, on the asphalt.
The air escaped my lungs, and I had a warm wet feeling under my forehead. I was bleeding, and the blood began to cover my right eye. I looked around the best I could- I had no idea where I was at. A fury of strong emotions flew through my head as I began to panic, a small twelve-year-old boy, outside, and in the dark.
I became dizzy from the lack of blood, from the tired, from the fear. I no longer felt as if I were followed, but I knew someone was there... somehow I could hear their silent footsteps. Fear rose up as I was about to scream. Before I moved I felt something hit my chest hard. The force of the hit knocked me on my back. I looked up with my good eye. A pair of dark red eyes stared back at me. The hand of whatever it was came down and touched my chest, and I felt a sudden burning sensation.

Wednesday, December 1st, 2010

I started off strong in my goal to get healthy.  I woke up early,  7:30 am.  I started the morning with some stretching and Yoga.  Then it was off to the shower.
After that I took some spare time brushing my teeth.  Making sure to get every tooth.
I topped it off with taking my vitamins and having a good breakfast, (healthy one too).
Then the workout.
I didn't want to start off too hard one the workout, I've done that before and it severly discourages further workouts.  So I did the simple.  20 push ups, 30 sit ups.  (on Top of the Yoga).

All in all I feel great, it has been a great morning.

(Adding in later)
I saw this video entitled "I Am Because We Are."
It's a video about some people who are less fortunate than we are.  I thought some of you might like it.
